Need title and/or author to book about the author's quest to become less intelligent?

A while ago I saw this book in line at a bookstore, but have since forgotten the name of the book. It chronicle's a man's struggle with his own intelligence, his smarts had only made his life difficult and complicated. He decides to make changes in his life in order to become less intelligent. I believe the book is non-fiction, and it is NOT Flowers for Algernon.

Reply:I'm sorry to say I don't know that one. I sounds interesting. If your interested in that theme then I have a couple of recommendations. Look up a man, I believe his name was Barkley Hall or something similar. He was a young genius playwright who had an accident that resulted in a significant reduction in his I.Q. I think he may still be alive today. I know there are also television documentaries and interviews with him. Also look up the movie "pi" (the Greek symbol). It's about a math genius who's life is made difficult by his intelligence. It's a 90's underground film. Very good.
