Reply:I think I would doe if I didn't get to read. I used to have a small bookshelf. Now, I have a bookshelf that goes halfway up my wall and from my closet on one side of my room the the window on the other. So, I would say I am a little bit of a bookworm. I keep a book in my purse.
Reply:I'm not a teen, but used to be a book worm when I was a teen and still love reading now. So what's the question? Are you looking for the next good read? If so, try something like To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee or The Animal Farm by George Orwell. I also like Edgar Allen Poe. I got in trouble when I was a teen because I read "The Tell-Tale Heart" to the kids I was babysitting for. (They had bad dreams!) Also, try The Giver by Lois Lowry.
Reply:Actually no. I hardly ever read unless it's assigned in class, but I find my self even slacking off then. Jane Eyre bored me. My favorite book I've read was probably Ernest Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises. I loved the whole story about a bunch of men just hanging out.
Reply:Wow! U really love books! I love books too! If I'm not reading, then I'm writing! I agree with u on ur last comment, but sometimes some people actually do read it, they just can't understand it. It takes knowledge and understanding of how things were like in the setting of the story in order to fully understand it.

I read the short story for Flowers for Algernon, I haven't read teh novel. They screwed up on the movie tho. The short story was okay, but we worked on it for weeks and it started to bug the hell out of me. I really love books and stories, but I hate redoing it for weeks becuz then the story looses it's appeal to me.
Reply:I loved Lord of the Flys, and to kill a mockingbird. Also Brave New World was very good. I like a lot but not all of poe, esp the cask of amontillado. But mostly outside of school I read fantasy or things like All American Girl or anything by Colfer.

-but you didn't hear it from me.
Reply:not a teen anymore but when I was one I read upto three books per day and big books at that and I still read though about one per three days now that I work and all that.
Reply:yes i am a teen that is a book worm! i love reading and i love books! i read mostly everything that catches my eye...when i was in grade school, i'd use to get into a lot of trouble because i was always reading instead of doing schoolwork haha. and the first things i bought when i got my first paycheck were books--Peter Pan and the Starcatchers and Peter Pan in Scarlet...i wish i had a million dollars to spend on books :).

and yeah i also hate when people ask about books...it's like, just cause i love books and read everything doesn't mean you can be lazy and not read them and ask me for summaries.

  1. Be aware that both the Starcatchers series and Scarlet have numerous mistakes in them compared to Barrie's original stories. It's terrible to be so disrespectful of another author's work let alone classic literature.

There is a continuation based on Barrie's own idea for more, though! Click!
