Have you ever read the book flowers for algernon?

I'm in the 8th grade and I never read it.


our teacher passed the novel and when i saw 200 pages i said im not ganna read it


so now monday i have a exam over all the progress reports can anyone help me?

and "read the book" is not a answer because theres no way im ganna read 200 pages in 2 days

Read a 100 pages a day..pull and all nighter if you have to..it's really a good book...it has a movie if you'd rather watch that it's not called flowers for algernon though it's called Charly with the l backwards in the title...go to pinkmonkey.com or cliffnotes.com or sparknotes.com to get the chapter summaries...I suggest you read the book though in case your teacher has seen the movie...
Reply:200 pages would barely take a day to read, especially if it is a novel and not a scientific text where you have to actually learn new concepts and ideas. You are lazy.
Reply:how funny im in 8th grade and am reading it now too, but we have a shortened version in our textbook, i say look up cliff notes on it, im sure ull find some!
Reply:Try Sparknotes for a detailed synopsis or watch the movie "Charly." It's a sad book, but it's really good. I recommend reading it at some point, even if you don't have time to read it before the exam.





Don't ever let a long book put you off--some of the best ones are the long ones!

Reply:If I were you, I'd try to find the movie adaptation and watch it this weekend. It's called "Charly" and stars Cliff Robertson.
Reply:That book is great...I remember having to read that back when I was in the 8th grade was well. It was one of the few books that I actually did enjoy reading. The movie "Charley" is good, but it doesn't really do the book justice.





By the way, reading the book is the only appropriate answer here. It will work out much better than trying to weasel your way through school by getting other people to do your work for you.

its about a man who is mental and he is tested and compared to a mouse.. Algernon


the man and mouse become friends but in the end algernon dies. need more info?
