Has eney one ever read Flowers for Algernon i have i thought it was grate how about you and y?

The Book, the Script, or the Movie? I haven't read the book, the script was great, and the movie went a little weird after that scene where Charlie becomes a motorcycling hippie after his teacher isn't interested in him. But the script for the stage rendition is excellent.

How is this a physics question?

Yes, it was a good book. But wouldn't this be more appropriate in another section? Aside from which it doesn't help to propagate any specific understanding. Who cares if others have read the book?

Was there something of specific importance you wanted to discuss, such as recombinant DNA, the perils and potential benefits of meddling with the human genome or medicines...

As I recall the book is about a rat and/or an intellectually challenged person getting similar treatment that made them both very smart. But eventually wore off or something? (Or am I remembering a different book?)

So, what is your actual question?

Yes, I've read the book. A long time ago. And it was nice.

The end.

Or were you looking for more? ;o] If so, maybe add some details and get a discussion going. Seriosly though it should probably go in the literature section of answers.yahoo.com not in physics/science.

Thx. ;o]

Didn't mean to come off snippy, just, y'know. Seemed slightly misplaced and not really a useful question for this category. Since literature =/= physics.
