Excellent book, sad testiment about human nature

Has anyone read or seen Flowers for Algernon (if so, how is it)?
I seen and read it. Don't remember much because we did it for high school English class. The novel was definitely better than the movie.

Reply:I did both. It was pretty good. However, i thought that it was soooooo sad. I almost cried, and being such uh uncaring person at times about books, it actully almost had me in tears. But it was great. I read and saw the movie last year. I don't remember why though, i think my teacher was bored, LOL.
