Flowers For Algernon book?
I remember this book - it was really good. A debate would mean two opposing lines of argument so:

1. The fact that Charlie grew more distant from the people around him that he cared for, and understood that his former workmates had been using him as the butt of their jokes indicates his emotional growth from childlike innocence to an adult evaluation of the world around him.

2. (opposing statement) As Charlie's intellect grew, he became more self-centered like a child. That was seen in his willingness to abandon his "friends" and even the doctors he was working with as he outstripped them in basic intelligence.
Reply:Basically did Charlie act mature as he got smarter or was he able to read but still act like a little kid.

If you read the book, you know the answer.
Reply:But, that's not a question! I'll try helping u:

His emotional growth grew more for his teacher as she taught him Charlie even more.

I dnt understand the question vry much add additional details if u can

Merry xmas
