What are some scenes that were important to developing the conflict in Flowers for Algernon?
I had to read this short story a couple of years ago in Reading class...hmmm....let me try to remember....Well, Charlie gets the surgery that is supposed to make him more intellegent. That is kind of important. And the scene where he sees that mentally retarded man is important...he laughs and realizes that he used to be like the mentally retarded man...so sad.
